Another One Down!! :D

Today a miracle happened...

as I was walking into my sign language class... NODE CHAIRS!!!!

The room was filled with them! Looks like my prayers were answered lol

Needless to say I was so pleased with the chairs that I missed the first 5 minutes of class! I then continued to love them as I swiveled and rolled around in them!!

One down!!! :D :D

Dear reader,
Today I marked off one of the items off... unfortunately it was not the node chair assignment... still working on that. But, I did make my first fondant cake! :D And for your enjoyment I documented it all!! :D

Baking the cake... it was a boxed cake, simply because I was too excited about the fondant to make a legit one!

My little sister wanted to lick the cake bowl... so I let her! ;)

With the fondant all rolled!! YAY it actually looks real!! :)

Lil sis and I coloring the fondant!!

Dirty iced! :D This is the problem that comes with being impatient and icing it before its cooled!

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAY! I am SOOOO excited for this!! :D :D :D

Finished with some girly add-ons! ;)

Me with my first creation!! :D :D

Get Ready to Laugh

So i started my new job, and at such job there is a girl training to be a pastry/desert chef. Well, I told her that it was one of my life goals to learn to cake decorate with fondant and that it was on my bucket list. And she just scoffed and said "Fondants just stupid." Well thanks a lot for crushing my dreams! Too bad I don't care and am still going to learn how!

Also, I have located some Node chairs at school, the next problem is getting to sit in them considering that they are in locked rooms unless a class is in session! :/ Mission: ACCEPTED!!! Look for pictures of my adventures coming soon!!

Today is a boring day!

Hello Reader,

Heres my newest graphic. I dont love it, but its not that awful! It took forever and would have been easy with a paintbrush for photoshop, but i really wanted to do this without it! So, here is a picture for you to enjoy!

The all too common BUCKET list!

Firstly, id like to question the origin of "bucket list." What at all does it have to do with things you want to do before you die!? After a nice google search I have now found it has to do with things you wish to do before you "kick the bucket." Well I'm all for euphemisms, but thats a little crazy!
Anyways, in no certain order I will be adding things as they come and conveniently labeling them together! When perhaps i fulfill an item i'll be sure to post pictures with the experience So lets get started:

Swim with dolphins
Sit in a node chair *see picture below*

Learn to decorate cakes using fondant
Record a song in a real studio
Have said song play on the radio
Travel to NYC
See a Broadway show
Design a house
Paint something beautiful
Volunteer at a soup kitchen
Talk to a homeless person
Eat a whole thing of ice cream right out of the carton
Take a picture that is published in a magazine
Own a miniature pig!

well, for now, that is all!! More to come I am sure!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Hello Again, Reader!
The pumpkin patch was a great hit!! We had a wonderful time being lots of yummy pumpkin-patch-related foods (HONEY STICKS!!!!!) and also so fun activities! Michael and I did a corn maze, and it was a ton of fun! We argued the whole time like a married couple, and it was hilarious, even though I'm convinced I was right about where we were! ;) After we went bed shopping, and came up empty handed and it was quite sad! :( We are moving in a little over a month, and I still have no bed! You'd never believe how expensive they are too! Anyways, here are some fun pictures of the pumpkin patch!!

The measures were a little off...

The little hay fort!

Michael was reliving the elementary school days! (isnt he a cutie?)

Fall is here!

Dear Readers,
My new blog is up and running and I kinda love it... I'll miss the music page, but anticipating the leaves changing has really gotten me excited for fall! My family is going to the pumpkin patch this week and I am super excited to pick up some more pumpkin butter, considering I'm almost out! My lovely sweetheart picked me up some honey sticks when he was helping his mom at Pomona Days, a fall festival, and ever since I wish I had more than the 4 he got! (I ate them all in one day) Either way, I am looking forward to getting some of those too!
We are moving soon, and I am procrastinating the packing process... I hate packing so much! I just wish I had magical powers and could snap my fingers and everything would magically transfer to the new place! (how cool would that be?!) I know that I need to set aside time to actually pack, but school is getting crazier, and I am getting more hours at work (which is a great blessing) but nevertheless, time at home consists of sleep and homework. (and a little blogging, of course.)
Well, seeing as I have now used my allotted time for blogging, I will let you go. Don't forget to play with the fish on side... watch out for the white one, he sneaks up and eats all of the food! :D
